After arriving at Eastern Market too late to get into Russell or Zef's for breakfast, we decided to give BB's a try and I'm so glad we did. There are breakfast specials before noon. They also serve burgers and such. Same owners as BB's Diner on Seven Mile.
We all had eggs with meat and fried potatoes or grits, which was all prepared well. My two sausage links were bigger than the usual and tasty. Hubs said his grits were a little too buttery but the potatoes were perfectly seasoned, no additional salt or pepper needed. Our meals came with "diamon" bread, which was little pita triangles, served warm and coated with cinnamon sugar. Yum! Decent coffee, a nice server, and a price of about $15 for three. Can't beat that.
My only tiny issue was we were the only ones there and the wait for our food was a little long but they've only been open one month so hopefully they'll work that out. -

The location on 5223 E 7 Mile Rd was a joke, overpriced food and service was ridiculous. April fools passed already. How do 4 people get there food before us when we placed the order first, it took over 35 minutes. It appears they had to hit the country, kill the cow and cook it. My grandma can cook faster with one arm, and she blinds. Cook extremely rude, we asked a question and he ignored us yet he spoke to other people. Sh%t service. DO NOT EAT AT THAT LOCATION.

The staff was nice but it took 20 minutes just to get water. The table was dirty with plates when we sat down, they never even bothered to clean it off for us. The busboy was over laughing with some friends, and wouldn't pay attention when we tried to wave him down. The waitress NEVER came to the table in the 45 minutes we sat there. She was the only one working on a busy Saturday. She apologized, and I felt bad that they were understaffed, but this place needs to get there shit together if they are going to continue to run a business. Disorganized chaos with the waitress wearing a belly shit with her bra sticking out. I'm no prude, but it was very unprofessional. We won't be back.. and if you're hungry I'd suggest you go somewhere else, since it seems it takes a few hours to get food there. I was REALLY excited when we walked in, and in a great mood. Very disappointing.

Today ordered breakfast and the food was molded and a bottle cap was in it also , was shown to the server was then instructed to wait for a manager that ever showed . After a long wait asked for a refund and the server said no one knows how to do refunds . AVOID AT ALL COST !

The food is great! The service is not! Try to call in a breakfast order in the morning & ur lucky if they answer the phone. If the owner is in a good mood, hell chat with u. If he isn't (which is most of the time) he'll barely say a word, even if he answers the phone. Very short & dry. He tends to be nicer to men than to women. Don't know if it's a sexist thing with him but he presents very bothered by women. Ladies, go in with a man if u want better service. If it's just u or ur girls, hopefully they'll be a waitress to help u. Pray it's not a hood rat (old or young). Some of the ones I've seen seem like old ass bar maids from the 70's or someone he pulled off the street. Good luck.
